Application
Conveyors for construction material plants
The problem
In a construction material plant, material moves continuously between stages, and conveying is not an auxiliary operation but what sets the pace of the whole line: an under-sized route becomes the bottleneck that limits the output of every other machine.
The difficulty is rarely the conveyor itself. It is that the route has to pass between machines that are already installed, in a building that was not designed around it, and the installation has to happen without stopping production for long.
What we deliver
Routes sized on the real throughput of the line, starting from the pace of the downstream machine rather than a catalogue figure.
Supporting structures built to order, on a survey of the geometry of your existing building.
Belt selection for abrasive material, with cleats where the route has a gradient and material would otherwise slide back.
Bucket elevators where the material has to be lifted and the floor area available is a few square metres.
Mechanical guarding, emergency stops and the safety accessories along the route.
Reference
For Cemacon we built belt conveyors integrated into the production flow of their ceramic block factory — routes sized on the real throughput of the line, with supporting structures and guarding made to order on the geometry of the building.
